Starting late this summer, I began a position at the Boston Globe as a sports hawk, covering mostly high school sports. My first assignment with the paper was a game preview for the New England Revolution and Chicago of Major League Soccer in an Open Cup game.
It was also my first ever soccer game story, and I will be covering more soccer, including broadcasting, this fall.
