Frozen Fenway: BU Men’s Hockey, HS Girl’s Hockey

Globe: BB&N vs Nobles

The Buckingham, Browne, & Nichols and Noble and Greenough girls’ hockey teams made quite an entrance onto the ice at the Women’s and Girls’ hockey day at Frozen Fenway on Tuesday afternoon.

Every player donned No. 24 on the back of their jerseys in honor of Denna Laing, the former Nobles and Princeton standout who suffered a career-ending spinal cord injury in the Women’s Winter Classic at Gillette Stadium in 2015.

JFK Keeps it Going for Terriers

As the Boston University Terriers continue their second-half tear, it’s easy to point to positives.

One of those positives is undoubtedly sophomore center Jakob Forsbacka-Karlsson.

With seven goals in his last four games, the alternate captain is showing signs of life after a slow start to the season. His goal in the third period on the power play against Boston College on Monday night sealed a victory.
