For most teams, suffering a one-goal defeat in the final minute is the definition of heartbreaking. For the Blue Hills boys lacrosse program, that word has a bit of a different meaning.
“The first time we played Cape Cod Tech, we lost 10-4,” Warriors coach Rich Cleggett said, taking a glass-half-full approach to the rematch – a 6-5 loss on May 15. “The growth of the team has been tremendous. They haven’t given up, they haven’t let the record speak for them, but have let their play speak for them.”
